[CyberArk] [PVWA-PTA] Cannot enable security configuration options \ No security rules in PVWA

Symptom:


After installing PTA, the Security configuration screen appears in the PVWA interface but changes cannot be made and the predefined rules do not appear.


Cause:

In order to communicate with the PTA server, PVWA uses the address taken from the certificate that is installed on the PTA. 

The default address is PTAserver and if the hostname changed for example: CYB-PTA.bulwarx.local, the new hostname should be updated.


Solution:

In order to resolve this issue please perform the following:

- Using the PrivateArk Client, open the safe "SharedAuth_Internal"

- view the properties of the password object named PTA_PAS_Gateway.

- Please note the address parameter (by default it will be PTAserver).

- If the PTA hostname changed you must change the address parameter:
